Download Star is a relatively new browser extension for Mozilla Firefox which you may use to download multiple files on web pages in one operation.
DownThemAll is a long standing very popular download add-on for Firefox. The author of the extension announced some time ago that he would not port the extension to the new WebExtension format.

Mozilla plans to drop support for legacy add-ons in Firefox 57 which means that the add-on will stop functioning when that happens for the majority of Firefox users.
Download Star is a WebExtension, and that means that it is fully compatible with Firefox 57 and future versions of the browser.

Modern family season 5 complete download torrent kickass. The extension is compatible with Firefox 48 or later, and will add an icon to Firefox's main toolbar when it is installed.
It requires one extra permission, and prompts users to accept this during installation. The extra permission it requires is 'download files and read and modify the browser's download history'.
The core functionality that Download Star offers replicates that of DownThemAll. Whenever you want to download files from the active website, click on the Download Star icon in Firefox's toolbar to initiate the process.
The extension lists all links on the page by default in list form. The type of content, e.g. HTML page, image or video is listed there as well.
If you are interested only in images, you may switch to the image download list instead which filters out all content types but images.
You may use the filtering options and search filter at the top instead to filter the list of files. Download Star comes with six presets -- images, video audio, archives, excutables, documents -- that you can check to filter the listing.
You may filter multiple types, e.g. images and video, to get all image and video files linked on the page.
The search may also be used to filter results. You may enter names or file extensions for instance to filter by those, or use regular expressions after checking the regex box to search using more sophisticated rules.
The core difference between using filters and search, and switching between links and images, is that the former highlights files that are displayed, while the latter changes which files are displayed.
The remaining options let you select a different download directory for the selected files, to change the conflict solution from skipping to renaming or overwriting, and to clear the history.
Comparison to DownThemAll
Download Star supports the same core functionality, but it lacks some features that DownThemAll supports. There is no option to pause or resume downloads for instance, you cannot modify download parameters such as the number of simultaneous downloads or speed, and there is no option to rename files automatically.
The usual suspectys download torrent. Last but not least, there is also no option to have the download accelerated, to use multiple mirrors to speed up the downloading of files, or to download from all open tabs in Firefox and not just the active tab.
Closing Words
Download Star is a promising add-on that replicates the core functionality of DownThemAll. It is a well designed extension for Firefox that is probably the best replacement for the soon defunct extension.

In the previous lesson you learned how to create a folder named Catchall so that you could place downloads and other collected files into that specific folder. Now when you need them later for something, you will know where to look.
One big problem that many people run into if they don't do that, is they download something to their hard drive but then lose it because they don't have any idea where it went.
If you haven't yet learned how to Create Folders or Rename Folders using Windows Explorer, then Click Here to learn these skills.
Now let's learn how to download a saved game file (Schizm.s08) from an email to your Saved Games Folder, which you placed inside your Catchall Folder on Drive (C:) in the previous lesson.
If you would like to practice this lesson using exactly the same saved file as we use in this example, then write to Mr. Bill and ask him to send you an email with this saved game attached to it.
Notice that the following picture shows an opened email that has the Schizm.s08 saved game file attached to it (highlighted at end of pointer). Notice the word Attach to the left of the window. Anytime you receive an attachment with an email it will show in this window, although it won't be highlighted when you receive it.
To open the attachment, you simply Double Click (two clicks on the left mouse button very close together) where it says Schizm.s08 (96.7 KB). By the way, the 96.7 KB tells you how big the attachment is.
When you Double Click on this attachment (the saved game file), an Open Attachment Warning window pops up, like the one in the picture below. There should be a Black Dot in the small circle to the left of the choice that says Save it to disk (this is the default setting).
Just move your mouse pointer down to OK (like in the picture below) and click on OK.
That will bring up a Save Attachment As window, like the one in the picture below.
Notice in the 2 pictures below that at the top of this window you see on the left side the words Save in: and an open rectangular box (containing a tiny picture and the word Desktop) to its right.
Whatever is in that open rectangular box is where it will be saved. But you don't want to save it to the Desktop, so you're going to have to search for your Catchall folder within the window.
Notice (where the pointer is in the picture below) that the saved game file Schizm.s08 is waiting patiently to be placed in the folder of your choice (which will be within the Saved Games Folder).
Now notice (in the following picture) that at the top, on the right hand side of the open rectangular box (containing Desktop), there is a small Black Arrow (triangle) pointing downward, as seen at the end of the pointer.
Clicking on this black triangle will open a small menu showing your drives (C:), (D:), etc, like in the picture below.
Since we created the Catchall Folder on Drive (C:), let's move your mouse cursor down to (C:), as seen in the picture below, and then click on it.
Clicking on Drive (C:) will open it and show you its contents. Notice that Drive (C:) now shows in the open rectangular box, as seen in the picture below.
Also notice that all of the Yellow Folders that are on Drive (C:) are listed, as seen in the picture below. The mouse pointer is to the right of one of those folders called the Program Files Folder.
Next we have to search for your Catchall Folder. In this case it is in plain sight. But let's suppose that you had many more folders on Drive (C:) and you were looking for another Folder called Xylum. Notice the Scroll Bar at the bottom of this window (where the pointer is in the picture below).
As seen in the next picture, you simply click on the black arrow (triangle) pointing to the right in order to Scroll over until you can see the folder that you are looking for (which is now highlighted in the second picture below).
Of course, you can scroll back to the left by simply clicking on the black arrow pointing to the left, as seen in the next picture.
And now we do want to go back to the left and find our Catchall Folder (which I have highlighted in the next picture).
Double Click on the word Catchall to open this Folder (it doesn't have to be highlighted first). Notice in the next picture that it then appears in the open rectangular box at the top.Just to make you a little more familiar with this window, notice that to the right of the black arrow (black triangle) pointing downward there are several small Icons (pictures). The first one shows a Bent Arrow pointing upward on a yellow folder, as seen in the following picture.
If you clicked on this bent arrow you would move up to the next higher or previous folder (the one that this folder is in). But in this case the next higher level from the Catchall folder is back to Drive (C:), which would once again appear in the open rectangular box in place of the Catchall Folder (as seen in the following picture). In one sense, Drive (C:) could be looked at as a huge folder, but it is referred to as a Drive, and they put a little picture (Icon) of a hard drive next to it instead of a folder. Lord of the rings return of the king movie download. https://endnew502.weebly.com/blog/sadhu-sundar-selvaraj-books-free-download.
The next tiny picture to the right of the bent arrow represents your Desktop. The picture of a pad and pencil sitting on a desk blotter is an Icon that represents your Desktop (I don't remember this Icon being in Windows 95). The Icon can be seen in the next picture. If you were to click on it that would put the both the Icon and the word Desktop back into the rectangular box again (as it was earlier in this lesson) in place of Drive (C:).
The next small picture, the Yellow Folder Icon to the right of the Desktop Icon (as seen in the next picture), is used to create a folder, in much the same way that we did in the previous lesson using Windows Explorer.
Let's try it. But first locate your Catchall Folder again and double click on it. Now it should once again be above and within the open rectangular box as seen in picture below. Then click on the Small Yellow Folder Icon that is to the right of the Desktop Icon.
Notice that after clicking on the small yellow folder, a New Folder Text Box appears within the window under our Saved Games Folder. This can be seen in the picture that follows.
Type in the name Patches in the New Folder Text Box, and then hit the Enter Key. Now you have created another Folder for game Patches. The two pictures that follow show before and after hitting the Enter Key.
A Patch, usually created by the developers of the game, is a file that is used to correct problems that people are having when trying to either run or install the game.
But we still haven't put our Schizm saved game where we want it to be. So now let's double click on the Saved Games Folder (like in the first picture below). Once you double click on the folder, then the Saved Games Folder will be seen within the open rectangular box at the top of the window (as seen in the second picture below).
But since this saved game is for the game Schizm, let's create another folder for it titled Schizm.
The reason it should have a special folder is because most games have saved games that don't give any indication as to what game they came from. A good example is the game Toonstruck, which has a saved game like 00000002.sav. So as you can see it would be very difficult to know which saved game came from which game if we just placed all of them together in our Saved Games Folder. It's better to just get into the habit of creating separate Folders for each game, whether for their patches, saved games, pictures or whatever else you may be collecting.
To create one for Schizm, click on the small yellow folder to the right of the Desktop Icon. Type in Schizm and Hit Enter so that it looks like the following picture.
How To Use Download Them All
Now Double Click on the Schizm Folder so that it appears up in the rectangular box of this window, as seen in the picture below.
But there is one more thing that we should do now. We need to create another folder that clarifies what this saved game is for.
Download Them All Edge
This particular saved game is just after a very difficult bridge puzzle on Matia Island. Many people have been getting terribly stuck at this point, and a saved game just after this puzzle is the only way they can continue on with their game.
So lets create an After Matia Island Bridge Folder. That way if any of your friends have trouble with this same puzzle, you will know where this particular saved game is, and you can send it to them.
Again, to do this, first click on the small yellow folder to the right of the Desktop Icon. Type in After Matia Island Bridge (or an abbreviated name if you wish) and hit Enter, so that it then looks like the second Picture below.
Now double click on the After Matia Island Bridge Folder, so that it appears in the rectangular box at the top of the window (as seen in the picture that follows).
Now you can, AT LONG LAST, click on Save (where the pointer is in the picture above) and, if all went well, the attached file (Schizm.s08) should have gone into the new After Matia Island Bridge Folder.
Notice that you have now been returned automatically to the email itself (as seen in the picture below), since you have now finished saving a copy of the attachment. But also notice that the original copy of the attachment is still on the email. So if you have messed up, it's still there and you can try again!
If you are concerned about whether the saved game really is in that new folder, then try the following:
Once again double click on the Schizm.s08 saved game file in the email and then in the Open Attachment Warning Window that comes up, click on OK. Now notice that in the Save Attachment As Window that comes up this time, the saved game file is already in the folder, as seen in the following picture.
Get Them All For Windows
In order to close the Save Attachment As Window, just click on the Cancel Button in the lower right, or click on the [X] found in the upper right.
The next lesson will show you how to take the saved game out of its folder and put it into the game that you are playing.
